Where you trying before the follicles ruptured. It’s important to try BEFORE ovulation rather than after ovulation as the egg may only be available for twelve hours. Follicles rupturing means that you had already ovulated, so depending on when that happened, you might have had a shot that night on getting pregnant (however, chance of conceiving even if timed perfectly is only like 15-20%). It might take up to a year to conceive. Continue to take metformin throughout your cycle (not just fifteen days) if you have PCOS. Good luck.

You can take a home pregnancy test approximately two weeks after your follicles ruptured / ovulation occur. Just remember that even with good eggs, good sperm and perfectly timed intercourse . . . Your chances of success are about twenty – 25%. Sometimes it takes couples multiple cycles. It’s great that you’re responding to the Clomid and Metformin but don't lose hope if it doesn’t occur on the first cycle. Keep working with your doctors and keep at it. Good luck and baby dust!
